I joined the staff of Friedens in 1998 as a volunteer after leaving my job in Austin and returning to this area.  I grew up around Geronimo, was baptized and confirmed at Friedens, and except for the brief 17 years of living in the Austin area, have lived here almost all my life.

I have a BBA in accounting, but have worked mostly in the IT arena. I married my husband, Bill, in 1982.  We have been blessed with two daughters and three grandchildren.  Kara, husband Kurt and their daughter Mia live in Bryan.  Hannah lives in Seguin with her sons, Rylan and James.

It has been an honor to serve the dedicated hardworking members of this church, whom I also consider my friends.  I look forward to all the great things Friedens’ future holds.

I joined the staff at Friedens in mid-September of 2014. In April 2013 I retired from a career in Banking.

I was born in Luling, grew up in Fentress, and went to school at Prairie Lea and then college at Kilgore College.   I married my husband Bruce Forester some forty years ago and God has truly blessed us with a wonderful family.  Blain, our oldest son is married to Mary and has two daughters, Emma and Allie.  Blake, our second son is married to Amanda and has a son, Graedon and a daughter, Hartlee.    Blair, our youngest son is married to Rachel and has one son, Jack..

In my spare time I enjoyed playing with grandchildren, shopping, sewing, sleeping, volunteering and working at my church office.

I have been graciously accepted here at Friedens and am thankful for the opportunity to serve as church secretary as we seek to work to glorify our Lord and Savior.
